Entomos Ecology is an independent ecological consultancy providing services in all aspects of ecology and specialist invertebrate surveys.

 

We offer high quality ecological surveys, reports and advice to assist our clients achieve their required targets, permits and permissions. From the initial ecological appraisal through to any post-project monitoring where required, we aim to meet required timescales, provide regular client communication and find pragmatic solutions to any ecological issues. 

 

Our work is conducted in accordance with the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management's: Code of Professional Conduct, Good Working Practices, Report Writing Guidance as well as British Standard Biodiversity – Code of Practice for planning and development and relevant best practice guidelines for surveys and mitigation.​

Entomos Ecology offers a complete ecological service to its clients. These services include: habitat and species surveys, post project monitoring with associated reporting and advice. We are also able to provide specialist services such as invertebrate surveys to other ecology consultancies.

We have experience working on and managing a wide variety of projects, including large and complex sites, such as including areas containing European designated wildlife sites. Our experience includes working on housing, pipelines, quarries, rail, road and many other types of development.
